Today was a beautiful Saturday in NYC. Two of my best girlfriends are here visiting, and we had a sun-filled day of brunch in the village and an afternoon at Central Park. It was 80 degrees and sunny…my kind of day!

I love combat boots, and i think they look fabulous with dresses. It really creates a nice contrast when you pair boots with girly dresses. My favorite is a simple lace dress and black combat boots, which is what I wore today.

There is something so awesome about girls wearing their boyfriends clothes and it actually looking good. I love boyfriend jeans (women’s jeans that look like boys) or actually borrowing a dude’s jeans and rolling them up. They look amazing with oxfords or any kind of flat. They look great with heels if you’re going for a dressier look, but I like to keep it casual with this look. Mary-Kate Olsen and Sienna Miller pull this look off better than anyone I’ve seen.

I have blogged about my love for leather jackets and am doing so again. I am now focusing on summer leather biker jackets and have found the perfect one. Burberry makes a beautiful beige cropped studded biker jacket. I looks great with a t-shirt and jeans or over a delicate dress. The beauty of biker jackets is that they can be paired with anything. Not many people can afford this gorgeous jacket, but it is a great starting point for inspiration.

“Somthing to Die for,” by the Sounds is officially my favorite song right now. I listen to it on the subway, when I’m at the gym, and when I’m getting ready in the morning. It is so good, and is featured on the new Scream 4 movie. I still have not seen the movie and had no clue that it was on there till I was searching for it on youtube. It really does go well with the movie, but even forgetting the whole scary killer chasing you through a house when your home alone thing, it’s a great song!
