One of my favorite places to eat and hang out in Nashville is Cafe Coco. The food is always amazing, and it’s a great atmosphere. There is always live music and it’s great for people watching. My favorite thing there is Coco’s quesadilla’s. They are truly amazing and is what keeps me coming back. They use social media in a really smart way as they give free delivery and special deals and coupons if you simply “like” them on facebook. That is great marketing as they are located downtown, and most working people do not have time to go out to a restaurant and pick up food.
The perfect place for a fiesta on my wrist!

Welcome to Through Mallory’s Eyes
Good evening readers,
I have signed up for a public relations social media class and it requires me to introduce myself. Through Mallory’s Eyes will remain a fashion, music, what’s hot blog, but I will also be integrating two social media related topics per week. Let’s begin!
My name is Mallory Moody, I am a senior public relations student at the University of Tennessee. I am originally from Nashville, TN, but I have lived in: Knoxville, Manhattan, London, Milan, and Beverly Hills. I have been traveling studying and working while I finish my undergrad at UT. I am still in the process of exploring my options for when I graduate in May, so I cannot say at the moment what exactly I will do. However, I do know that fashion and music PR are absolutely in my future.
As I said, two of my posts per week will integrate social media with music and fashion. I would like to not only be posting what I’m wearing or what I like, but also what is relevant to these industries. I think that this changes will reflect on my online identity in a positive light as they will dig a little deeper than “what I think is awesome.” My overall goal is that this blog will help me gain online recognition as a trendy blogger, and it will help secure a job when I graduate. I encourage you to comment so we can make my posts a conversation a conversation instead of me yapping at you.

I have very large hair to say the least, and I’m always looking for ways to tame it. Don’t get me wrong I like big hair, but not all the time. Free People has the sweetest hair accessories. I just love their new turbans. It’s cooler than a headband, and gives your outfit some personality. I got this Zig Zag Turban Headband for only $24. Check out the hair accessory section on their website. You’ll die for them!
I went for a kind of modern day hippie look with mine. I have crazy hair so I just put it on with a hunter green trench coat, dark flared jeans, and camel boots.

It is hard to find a cute up-do for dressy events besides putting it in a high or low bun. I’m always experimenting with my hair and it just doesn’t work out so well, and I get so sick of wearing it down. Charlize Theron looked absolutely gorgeous. Her dress was to die for, but what caught my eye was her chic up-do. She parted her hair, then french braided it all the way down. Shen then wrapped her braid into a bun and pinned it. it is so chic and so simple. I got these photos from The Cut.

Warwick Avenue, by Duffy, is a bit sad, but I just love this song. It’s cold and rainy outside, and I’ve spent my day napping and listening to records with a cup of hot chocolate. It is days like these that make you want to get all of your work done early so that you can spend the rest of the day all bundled up inside on your couch.
