Gotye is the first artist to actually use those annoying covers on YouTube and make them into an actual song that people enjoy. Every time a new hit comes out, there are plethoras of people trying to cover it on YouTube, making you unable to actually find the real song or official music video. He embraced his fans by taking their covers of “Somebody That I Used To Know” and complied them into one calling it “Somebodies.” (very clever)
Leather is beautiful. It smells good. It makes you feel sexy.
I think these are reasons are good enough reasons to wear leather. It is always seen on the runways and never goes out of style. Here are my favorite pieces for fall that will take leather from biker to babe.
While shopping online, I found this website and fell head over heels in love. All the pieces are unique and exquisite. I really like how they styled the lookbooks and you can look through them to get inspiration as well as shop. It’s a little pricey, but if you’re looking for quality this is a good place to start. I personally will be asking for Isadore’s Cocktail Ring, Oxidized Sterling Silver mixed with 14K Yellow Gold Vermeil and Rough Cut White Diamonds.
A few of my favorite looks from the lookbooks that I will definitely be taking inspiration from are:
Made Her Think has also done collaborations with well-known designers and my all time favorite, Rihanna!
I am always looking for new music and because I seriously have song ADHD and get bored so quickly. Don’t get me wrong, when I hear a really great band or song, it will stay on my playlists forever, but I like variety. People are always asking me where I hear these bands and whatnot and honestly it all comes from a plethora of different places.
However, my #1 starting point is by listening to Alt Nation on XM. I have never wanted XM radio and thought it was silly, but then my boyfriend got it in his car and I began hearing all kinds of awesome bands all the time.
It’s really cool because the band Grouplove held a private concert in July with tickets only to be won through calling in on SiriusXM. Alt Nation first played Grouplove in April 2011. The SiriusXM channel’s support of Grouplove played a key role in the development of the band. This was also the case with Foster the People.
“SiriusXM has been such an amazing supporter of not only our music from the very beginning, but also of good new music everywhere. We are honored to be a part of such a special event,” said Grouplove’s Ryan Rabin. -NEW YORK, July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/
My favorite Grouplove song is Itchin’ On A Photograph, Alt Nation’s #13 on the Alt Nation Top 18 Countdown.
