I am always looking for new music and because I seriously have song ADHD and get bored so quickly. Don’t get me wrong, when I hear a really great band or song, it will stay on my playlists forever, but I like variety. People are always asking me where I hear these bands and whatnot and honestly it all comes from a plethora of different places.

However, my #1 starting point is by listening to Alt Nation on XM. I have never wanted XM radio and thought it was silly, but then my boyfriend got it in his car and I began hearing all kinds of awesome bands all the time.

It’s really cool because  the band Grouplove held a private concert in July with tickets only to be won through calling in on SiriusXM.  Alt Nation first played Grouplove in April 2011. The SiriusXM channel’s support of Grouplove played a key role in the development of the band. This was also the case with Foster the People.
